It’s a big game for Xavier tonight in the BIG East as they are looking to climb up the standings. The Cintas Center will be rocking tonight for the home team, Musketeers, who have faired well on their home court. Villanova has struggled on the road this season. The Wildcats defense has often looked lost, but they have been okay due to their hot offensive shooting. The Musketeers are a veteran group that can score with their guards and bring physical presents with their big men. Ryan Conwell was a fantastic portal pick-up from Indiana State, and the return of Zach Freemantle has done wonders after he sat out last season. The Wildcats have dominated this series for years, but the glory years of ex-coach Jay Wright are over, making it more of a competitive matchup. Take Xavier.

Georgia Tech is happy to be back home after getting beat up on the road this past week. The Yellow Jackets are a young team, so returning home could greatly help them. Clemson has been hot this year, with most of their work being at home. Big man Ian Schieffelin is one of the best rebounders in the conference and does a great job getting to the foul line. Schieffelin was in a back brace the other night and is dealing with a calf issue. Saturday, he didn’t look like himself. Getting back to 100% on the road will be challenging, and his minutes could be limited. The Yellow Jackets are thrilled that Lance Terry is back healthy after missing last year. Baye Ndogno is a rising star, as he is great around the rim and is a master at disrupting opposing teams’ shots. The Yellow Jackets have a lot of good guards that will compete after a week on the road to forget. Take Georgia Tech.
