Burns(5%) GONZAGA. After a tough stretch at the betting window, the Bulldogs got on track in a big way last game. Laying -24.5 at Portland, they smashed Portland by 43 points. I expect them to carry the positive momentum into Tuesday's “revenge” game against Oregon State. This is a game which the Bulldogs have had circled. Recall that the Beavers upset them, in Overtime, at Corvallis, less than two weeks ago. Gonzaga doesn't just want to win this game; it wants to run the Beavers right out of the building. While the Beavers are an impressive 13-1 on their home floor, they're only 1-4 on the road. Their last road game was an 11-point loss at San Francisco. While the Dons are tough, they're not nearly as tough as the Bulldogs. Earlier, Oregon State lost by 21 at Loyola Marymount. Once again, this is a far more difficult venue. The last time that Gonzaga played a regular season game when playing with same season revenge, was the final game of the reg season last year. Santa Clara had beaten them earlier but the revenge-minded Bulldogs blew them out, easily covering, in the rematch. Order restored, look for the Bulldogs to blow out the Beavers.

This will be a short handicap: First off, I think this is the 1st game all year, I am playing against a very very good hockey team. Dallas, without question, is one of if not the best hockey team in the entire league. They are for sure a top 5 team and a real cup contender. With that said, Vegas is just as good and actually have a slightly better record than this Stars team. But why is this the spot where I am convinced Vegas will win. Convinced enough to lay a 4% bet on it.
Here is the bottom line. I want to bet on really good teams after they have a skid. Vegas lost 4 games in a row and have lost 5 of 5 of their last 7. They have also lost to some really bad teams like the Hawks and the Preds. Then they came home and played the Cup Champs and beat Florida 4-1. That to me is a launch pad game and I expect Vegas to bring their absolute best tonight. Plus they are in a rapid revenge spot, having lost 4-3 to Dallas 2 games ago in Dallas. On top of that, Dallas is on their 2nd game of a road trip - which is a game I like to fade teams on.
I think Dallas lets up tonight and Vegas plays their best game of their season. I do think this game will still be close a 1 or 2 point game, but Vegas will win.

4% Rotation #653: CBB Tuesday 4% Cincinnati Bearcats +100 @ Utah Utes @ 10 PM ET - The Bearcats are off their worst loss of the season and I fully anticipate a major bounce back effort here. They lost at BYU 80 to 52 but this was despite Cincinnati having 61 field goal attempts compared to just 49 for the Cougars. Simply put, it was just “one of those days” where seemingly anything that can go wrong does go wrong! BYU made a ridiculous 15 of 24 three pointers while Cincinnati was at other end of the spectrum as they made only 5 of 28 three-pointers! So when you look at the line on this game you see it opened at a pick'em even though Utah is at home plus has the better Big 12 record this season. This line essentially functions as an invitation to grab the Utes on their home floor. As such, in typical contrarian fashion, I am happy to pounce on the other side of this one and grab a Cincy side that will absolutely be fired up for a payback game after the unreal result at Brigham Young. Note that Utah has lost 6 of 9 games and one of the wins came in OT. Also, they have score an average of only 54 ppg in regulation time of last 3 games and confidence has to be down from that. Yes, the Bearcats are off an ugly game offensively too but this followed winning 2 of 3 games and scoring 69 ppg in those 3 games. Also, they have the better defensive numbers on the season and I am sure they are going to be in lockdown mode on defense after being obliterated by the 3-ball in that loss at BYU. This is a great spot to back a small road dog that will have most looking at the other side of this one. Hidden gem value here. 4% CINCINNATI +100
