Turfway Park - Race #8

#1 Elle's Dancer	She steps up to try winners after graduating going short last out, but I like that she has honest local form and might be quick enough to try to establish position from the fence in a race with some pressing types but no other serious front-end pace.
#7 Four the Girl	No real argument from me for anyone landing here on the rise again with two really solid local runs on her page, but the waters will get deeper today and she's probably not getting lost on the board.
#11 Verbal Geyser	She's a big question on class, but she has super reliable form on synthetic footing and has some versatile pace that might give her rider a couple options from the high draw. Considered on top -- want her on the backups at least.
Race Summary	Elle's Dancer has her work cut out for her from the fence, but she might be able to carry her pace a long way at an OK price if the other forward players give her just a little room to relax.

Turfway Park - Race #9

#3 Wish Carefully	That first local try wasn't all bad when going short, and he might find himself in a spot to sit just behind the more serious pace types. Bit of a reach, but I could see that sprint run last out translating well today.
#8 Sully	Tough call. The baseline form will make him tough, but there is a little bit of other pace lined up in here, and he has given away ground in the stretch call of every career race. Could drill these by four, but I worry the price gets short.
#7 Steppin Silver	He made a sharp move before going flat late in the debut run, but it's easy to see him sustaining that kind of effort a bit better this time around. One of the ones.
Race Summary	Wish Carefully should be a decent price, and there are a couple of pretty nice names in the company lines on his pae.

Turfway Park - Race #10

#12 Q B Nine	Wide draw is no bargain right out of the box, but I'm not sure who you're supposed to be that afraid of on paper in this one, and the price should be OK. Get a look.
#6 Very Satisfactory	He's a threat on general form for top connections, but he's obviously an underachiever for this team and has not been a serious threat to a winner in some time. He can win this, but I don't see getting that excited or confident about him.
#3 Hyperbolize	He's got a couple good route races on his page that lessen my fear that he won't translate that finishing sprint run to this trip, and it's probably worth having him on the multi-race plays. Seems capable.
Race Summary	Q B Nine is a fresh face in a race without any real standout, and the barn has landed a couple local races like this over the last two seasons.

#5 MAERDAMA (9-2)	Met quality rivals in two starts, question of readiness in seasonal debut.
#1 ON MOONLIGHT BAY (15-1)	Good tries routing on all-weather track, gets pace to run at.
#7 FLASHY MOTOR (2-1)	Had good set-up, hand-ridden in 4-path in the stretch to finish third.
Race Summary	MAERDAMA ran second in her debut as a 4-year-old, then back-pedaled as the odds-on favorite in her second start. She faced eventual Grade 2 winner Accede (4-9, $413k) and hard-hitting allowance runner Principia (6-32, $213k) in those two races. Give her the benefit of the doubt after an eight-month layoff. Bet to win and place and play 5-1 and 5-7 exactas.

Gulfstream Park - Race #3

#5 MAGNETIC BEACH (5-2)	Long sprint form translates well in this one-mile lineup.
#6 CANDY AND WINE (9-5)	Bumped inner rival at break, stalked 5-wide as beaten debut fave.
#1 CICATRIZ (6-1)	Improved try from the rail with first-time Lasix, value remains.
Race Summary	In a field of unproven milers, class dropping MAGNETIC BEACH gets the call off a pair of runner-up efforts at 7F. She drifted 4-wide in the stretch in a well-bet debut at Keeneland, then finished well but couldn’t reach the 5-2 winner at Churchill Downs. Bet to win and place.

Gulfstream Park - Race #6

#1 SLENDER SLIPPER (3-1)	Drops into ideal spot to break maiden after four months away.
#2 PUCKERED (7-2)	Floated to 6-path for stretch drive, didn’t change leads, ran second.
#7 ZEENA SWIFT (2-1)	Had tune-up, runs for cheapest tag yet, could take some catching.
Race Summary	SLENDER SLIPPER gets needed class relief, gets in light-weighted from the rail and broke her maiden off a similar rest. She was a ‘gate’ scratch in November, but figures up close throughout if she gets away cleanly. Bet to win and place and play 1-2 and 1-7 exactas.

He should definitely be given a chance given the formidable speed figures. NO ORDINARY TIGER - There is a very good chance that this entry's late pace will improve on Lasix. Should compete admirably in the early pace clash which bodes well with this field. TERRY'S SERVICE - Bettors should note that this animal runs with second time Lasix today. Has a sharp shot in here if you like back class.

LADY HAMILTON - This mare is in good form, having run a strong race on January 23rd, finishing fifth. Jimenez was aboard this mare last time around the track and was impressed enough to take the horse right back. Last raced at Turfway Park in a race with a class figure of 91. Dropping drastically in Equibase class figure in today's event puts her in a solid position in this field. I like the fact that this mare's last speed rating, 88, is tops in this field. Has the look of a potential overlay right here at odds of 4/1. Finished fifth in last race at Turfway Park but was close at the wire. PLATINUM DIVA - Ran last time around the track against tougher competition at Turfway Park. The move down the ladder based on class rating points should suit her well. When this jockey and conditioner unite you have to take a look. Saez and Morey have been wonderful together. STARSHIP BELMONT - Moncada comes to saddle up after getting to know the mare in the last event. Don't often see a positive ROI like +26. This jockey/trainer pair has done well together over the last twelve months. Won her last after shipping in. I like her again.

TALE OF THE LYON - I'd like to see more preferred recent showings with M/L odds of 8/5. Hasn't been winning these days when made the chalk horse. Take a look at her record. PERFECTINGTHEVIEW - Not likely that this horse will finish better than she did last time when finishing fourth. Most unsatisfactory speed rating last out at Mahoning Valley Race Cour at 6 furlongs. Don't believe this less than sharp equine will improve too much in today's event. WOLFIE'S PRINCESS - Today's affair is 6 furlongs. Hasn't hit the board in a sprint race in the last two months. Not the greatest of signs. Would have to move up off that sixth place finish last time out of the box to make an impact here.
