Fair Grounds - Race #8

#1 Miss Authentic	Think she can flash a little pace from the fence in a race without any serious early burn, and I like the way she came forward last out when getting around two turns.
#6 Hope Mission	Not much wrong with the form through two races other than the lack of a win on the page, but she's going to take a bunch of cash today and has been spinning her wheels ever so slightly late in both runs. Could loom and come up short. The one to beat.
#3 Love Song	She was getting past a few horses in that OK debut run behind an easy winner, and she wouldn't be a total shock from a spying spot in the second start out.
Race Summary	Miss Authentic should get a good run of things near the top here in a race without any wild pace, and another small step forward might be enough for her to land this.

Fair Grounds - Race #9

#2 Tyler's Turn	Fresh face is not finding the deepest spot even for this restricted/claiming level, and maybe this one turns in an even effort and plugs away to land it.
#1 Tested	He has shown a bit better in those last two starts since getting into route spots, and he might find a cozy spot with a touch of tactical pace from the inside draw.
#9 Diamond Eyed Jack	He's one of the logical players on paper with a couple OK main-track tries on his page against similar, and something like his last probably does the trick if he transfers it.
Race Summary	Tyler's Turn goes first out in a race that doesn't feel too deep, and I'd be happy to go two-deep with him and the rail runner in hopes 'Jack doesn't move his form entirely over to turf.

Fair Grounds - Race #10

#3 Deal of Faith	Mild worry that a couple of the pressing types could hassle him just enough to complicate things, but he is almost surely the controlling pace again and might discourage all the chasing types into the lane.
#1 Hard Cry	Think there is enough upside today to put him on some of the smaller plays, as he was a forgettable one-paced runner in the debut, but he didn't break well or behave the whole way, so that race might set him up for something better today.
#4 Computerized	He has had some chances and has finished behind the top choice in three consecutive races, so I'm not too enthusiastic about him. That said, he's as good as he's ever been, and you might get a price that's just playable enough.
Race Summary	Deal of Faith should be able to control the tempo here, and he can get his diploma today if he can avoid taking on too many of them early. Think he's just supposed to win this.

RIP N ROLL - Have to give this gelding a shot. Ran a good effort last out within the last thirty days. Have to like the way Wilhelm has raced this gelding back into shape off the layoff. Equine is well spotted in this sprint and I think he'll run well today.
