Fair Grounds - Race #7

#11 La Perfect Bee	Think he'll be an OK fit here while dropping out of those Hawthorne special weight spots last summer, and he should be getting past this bunch late.
#9 Knock'em Out Jerry	Pace has had a few chances and failed to see out a trip, but he looks like the controlling tempo again today and isn't meeting a ton of capable finishers. Could run these off early.
#5 Unbridled Pleasure	He could be the thorn in the side of 'Jerry as he drops to the bottom after another fading effort, but I don't love the way he has coughed things up in every start.
Race Summary	La Perfect Bee and Knock'em Out Jerry look like the right pair to get through this one to me, but I think the former is the right one while trying this kind of level for the first time.

Fair Grounds - Race #8

#2 Joejoe Go	Willing to forgive him for the route dud -- almost anyone with any kind of talented 3-year-old is going to try to send them long at least once, and it didn't work out for this guy. He handled turf in the debut and can turn the tables on the guy who beat him that day.
#4 Can't Deny It	They took a couple route shots with him after the solid debut score, and he's back again at what is probably going to be his best game. In the mix.
#3 Innova	He drops out of a stakes spot and was solid here in a couple starts earlier this season. One of the ones in a fun race.
Race Summary	Joejoe Go gets the edge in a competitive spot, and I'm assuming he's going to bounce back easily today after the dull route try.

Fair Grounds - Race #9

#11 Love in the Dark	Not in love with her overall form, but she has that two-back Delta run on her page that would make her a player if she were able to bring something similar on the drop today. Price might be OK, too.
#2 Glamour Power	Low expectations for a top team with this one debuting in the basement, but she's not going to have to be a whole lot to land this one right out of the box.
#10 Classy Mimi	She went evenly in the Delta debut run, but she isn't finding the deepest group here for the level and has some room to come forward at second asking.
Race Summary	Love in the Dark looks capable enough if she's able to get back to the January Delta run, and I'm guessing she offers a decent single-digit price.

Race Summary	LOST RIVER chased a smashing, multiple stakes-placed winner in her lone start on the dirt when she debuted at Laurel Park nine months ago. 2^nd race [NY, OC45k/N2X, 6F] – (5) Acoustic Ave (C) was bet down from 8-1 to 4-1 and finished third at this level. (2) Graywing finished in the top three in 11 out of his last 12 starts with two wins since January. He was claimed from his last two starts and won 12 days ago. (1) Heavyweight Champs was a front-end winner of a first-level NY-bred allowance last month against open company. (6) Ten Cent Town returns from a May layoff with four races in a row where he hit the board at this level.

3^rd race [Clm 10000, 1 mi] – (7) Raw Power (B) raced wide on a track that was favoring inside runners and was third only ? length behind the winner. (1) Condiment Girl (B) also had to go wide on that same day when the inside paths were best, got to the lead, but lost by a head at the end. (3) My Royal Vow will drop down from her last two starts for $16,000 including a second in January. (6) Waitwaitdonttellme was second at this level, got claimed in January, and then tried to step up in class.

8^th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (6) Counter Move (B) finished third in his debut after racing wide from the far outside of a large field behind a horse that came back to win his next start. (7) Dear Chairman gets first-time Lasix after a race where he lost all chance while at the start while trying to race nine-furlongs. (8) Attorney Wade was third in his debut in January behind a horse that came back to win his next start. (5) Kings and Dreams makes the first start of his career for the red-hot barn of Greg Sacco and has been training steadily.
