NBA (553) ORLANDO MAGIC VS (554) CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
Take: over
The Magic have struggled recently, losing seven of their last nine games. In their latest outing on Friday, they fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 118-111. Paolo Banchero delivered an impressive performance with 43 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists, while Caleb Houstan added 18 points. Despite leading by 11 points entering the fourth quarter, they conceded 40 points in the final period, leading to their defeat. The Cavaliers are in exceptional form, boasting a 16-game winning streak. They secured a 133-124 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. Evan Mobley recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Darius Garland contributed 20 points and nine assists, and De'Andre Hunter added 18 points off the bench. The Cavaliers dominated early, scoring 75 points in the first half and maintaining control throughout the game. The Cavaliers have dominated recent encounters, winning the last three games against the Magic. Their most recent meeting on February 25 resulted in a commanding 122-82 victory for Cleveland. The Cavaliers have a potent offense, averaging 122.8 points per game (1st in the NBA), against Orlando's struggling offense, averaging 104.5 points per game (30th in the NBA). The Cavaliers' defense allows 111.6 points per game (9th in the NBA), while the Magic boast the league's best defense, conceding only 106 points per game. This one has the great offense of the Cavs vs the top defense of Orlando. I like this game to go over as Cleveland dominates the pace. Play OVER.
The Tennessee Volunteers (27-6) and the Florida Gators (29-4) are set to clash in the SEC Championship game on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The game is scheduled to tip off at 1:00 PM EST and will be broadcast on ESPN.
Tennessee enters the championship after a hard-fought 70-65 victory over top-seeded Auburn in the semifinals. The Volunteers have won seven of their last eight games. Florida, on the other hand, dominated their semifinal matchup against Alabama, securing a 104-82 win. The Gators have been on an impressive run, winning five consecutive games and 11 of their last 12. The SEC Championship promises an exciting matchup between two in-form teams. Tennessee's robust defense will be tested against Florida's high-scoring offense. Florida has already shown they can push the pace and score points. Tennessee will try and slow the pace but I don't see that happening. I'll take the OVER.
