4^th race [Clm 25000 N3L, 1 mi] – (6) Eric From Miami won at the N2L condition two races back by more than 10 lengths on a sloppy track and then had a wide trip while stepping up to a starter allowance. (1) Az U Chase Me came back from a short layoff to run third at this level last month. He won at the N2L level for $40,000. (2) Pineapple Man returned from an eight month layoff in February and probably needed the race. (3) Janssen had been in top form before getting eased in February. He posted a series of workouts since then.

5^th race [Clm 32000, 6F] – (4) Our Liberty Belle was a runaway winner on the front-end at this level in January and then tried a starter allowance two weeks ago. (1) Will Be Famous has two wins and a second in her last three races. She was claimed by Brad Cox from a victory for $25,000, came right back to take a starter allowance, and was second in a lower starter allowance two weeks ago. (2) Echo in Eternity was a winner last month in a $35,000 N3L claimer after contending on the front end early. (3) Gridlock was claimed twice from her last four starts while hitting the board three times.

6^th race [Clm 35000B, 6 ? F] – (6) Pam Pam (B) was unprepared for the start of her March race due to a problem with the assistant starter and got claimed from Linda Rice by Rick Dutrow. (3) Bedtime Story came back from a 15 month layoff as a horse that won six of her nine career starts. Last month he set the pace, finished third, and certainly needed a race. (2) Book of Wisdom was second in the same race as the horse mentioned above using the N3L part of the conditions. (4) Fuhgeddaboudit has been running against better mostly at Laurel Park and is in with the N1Y condition with five wins on her record.

8^th race [NY, Md 30000, 6F] – (5) Magic Beach was on the lead in his last two starts finishing third and second. (6) So Spirited had a rough debut for Linda Rice three weeks ago at 7-1 and should improve. (7) Stimuli was third in his debut for $25,000 as the 2-1 favorite and then was moved up to fourth by disqualification. (4) Nine N Four ran six days ago as the favorite in the same race as the top choice.

Best bets: Eric From Miami (4^th); Magic Beach (8^th). Best value: Our Liberty Belle (5^th); Pam Pam (6^th).

2^nd race – (7) Gorrono Ranch looks like another debut winner for Ward. (1) Satisfied Mind gives Ward a nice 1-2 punch. (9) Storm Cloud Rising is worth a look here. (11) Cinnamon Sugar put in a nice gate work for this. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-7-9-11.

4th race – (8) Rare Ruby drops to a level where she should be highly competitive. (9) Brooklyn Can Dance adds blinkers and is worth a look. (12) Red Wine Lady should be closing late. (3) Mustang Lady may appreciate a switch to dirt. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-8-9-12.

7th race – The FanDuel Limestone Stakes - (5) It Ain’t Two arrives from Europe and gets top billing here. (6) Shisospicy will be the one to reel in. (9) Dreamaway will be a threat on her best try. 9th race – The Maker’s Mark Mile (G1) - (6) Carl Spackler is a multiple Grade 1 winner who can start 2025 on a winning note. (1) Integration missed by a neck in the Pegasus Turf and looms as the one to fear. (2) Funtastic Again runs well fresh and rarely turns in a poor try. WILDNCRAZYNIGHT - Not a value play to back the public's top choice when he continues to lose time and time again when favored. BIG BOAT - In this situation, this racer's inability to make up any ground in the last race is a matter of concern. Notched a pedestrian fig last time out in a $200,000 Optional Claiming race on Feb 24th. Unlikely to see an improved performance off of that rating. THE WARDEN - 4/1 is not worth the risk for any entrant in a sprint of 6 furlongs that hasn't hit the board in a sprint affair recently. Hard to bet this one after not being near the front at 1 1/16 miles and now being situated in a race of 6 furlongs. Don't think this mount will make an impact today. That last speed fig was most unsatisfactory when compared with today's class figure.

CHURNING BERNI - A winning percent the likes of what Ortiz and Jacobson have achieved together is terrific. Horse's last race was at Fair Grounds in a race with a class figure of 86. Dropping a significant amount in class figure this time out puts her in a solid position right here. I like the fact that this filly's last speed fig, 80, is tops in this bunch. PAT'S BUTTON - Rodriguez and Lucas partnered together are a horseplayer's friend. Aboard this horse on March 13th and Rodriguez is yet again in the irons in this race. Here is an appropriate handicapping angle that I've used many times before. Play a filly (like this one) getting Lasix for the second time. Horse made up some ground down the stretch last time around the track on March 13th at Turfway Park. That race is better than it looked.

STIRRED UP - Not probable for this one to make an impact with no success lately in a short distance affair. FITTING - Difficult to take this mount at these odds after the finish (third) in the last event. HOPE RESTORED - The Brain always tells me to stay away from horses in sprint contests that haven't hit the board in sprint affairs of late. Doubtful that this horse will finish better than she did last time out when finishing tenth.

FRONTIER ROLLO - He's competing in fine form, recording clear-cut speed ratings. An excellent pick. Good for a win wager just off the outstanding prior class numbers. Have to like this harness racer. DONT JUDGE A BOOK - This interesting entrant could get the win here beginning from the Harrah's Philadelphia 5 slot. Definitely the class of the field of horses with an average rating of 86.
