SMART OKIE - Have to give this mare a chance. Ran a nice contest last out within the last thirty days. I think this mare is ready to run a good one. She's had enough races around the track since the layoff and should be fit.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 CHAPARRITA (ML=5/2), #3 MAMASHAVNAHOTFLASH (ML=3/1), #6 NEUTRALIZE (ML=9/2),

CHAPARRITA - I foresee a setback for this horse in this event. MAMASHAVNAHOTFLASH - The pace scenario just isn't too promising for this speed merchant. Many other horses would have to scratch to help her chances. This mare has already been beaten as the favorite twice. Hard to give her another chance. NEUTRALIZE - If today's affair shapes up right, all the front runners will force a furious pace battle early. Too bad this animal is one of those front runners. This runner ran a disappointing fig in the last race. She shouldn't run better and will probably get beat in today's race running that rating.

CLASSIC MYSTERY - Ran last time around the track against better company at Parx Racing. The move down in class ranks should suit her well. IMPERIO AZTECA - If this filly gets out of the gate cleanly, she'll be tough to catch. Taking a trip down the ladder based on class rating points; has the power to make her presence felt. It is my opinion that fillys run better the 2nd time they get Lasix. Mosco puts this filly on it for the second time today, so give this one a look.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 KATES WARRIORHEART (ML=3/1), #10 MOPSY (ML=6/1), #7 CREAMRISESTOTHETOP (ML=8/1),

KATES WARRIORHEART - Likely won't make much of an impression this time around. MOPSY - Doesn't seem to have enough good aspects to warrant the price. CREAMRISESTOTHETOP - The seventh place finish position in the last affair was not the greatest. This filly hasn't had any recent good fortune in sprint events. Tough to play her in this race.

RUBY THE DESTROYER has a respectable shot to take this race. Love when any racer makes a quick return to the track. Could beat this group of horses given the 67 speed rating garnered in her last outing. INCLUDING ELLIE - With a competitive 69 speed figure last time out, will surely be a factor in this race. McDaniel has this mare racing well and is a quite good pick based on the very strong Equibase Speed Figures garnered in route races recently. WAR MUSIC - Displays the look of a profitable play, averaging a solid 64 Equibase Speed Figure which is one of the best in this group of horses. The Equibase Speed Fig of 67 from her most recent contest looks decent in here.

GOLD STAR SVEN - Been going to post with some tougher customers of late, has a distinct class edge. (Average Rating 83). This solid standardbred will have to be a bet, based on the fantastic driver-trainer return on investment rate.

After thorough analysis by the consortium, DESPERATE MAN comes out as the top pick. Might be there at a favorable price tag. Very likely one to keep in your exotics. This harness racer looks very good. Look at the 101 avg speed fig. This gelding has been running against some of the most competitive company in this bunch most recently. VERDUN - It's sometimes tricky to consider on class alone, but this horse has among the best class ratings of the race. Could dominate this field of horses, just look at the speed rating - 95 - from his last performance. HELLABALOU - Certainly should be given a look based on the formidable speed figure recorded in the most recent competition. Many top players strongly consider this horse on the driver-trainer statistics alone.
