    n00b questions, please dont laugh

I am new to betting. Just started a few months ago. I just joined the boards a few weeks ago.

Question 1: What is a unit? Everyone keeps betting 0.5 units, 1.5... ect

Question 2: What is a teaser? I see the joker guy doin it a lot. How do I bet a teaser on my site, it seems the numbers he is betting arent on mine. I go with sportsinteraction.com.

Question 3: Is there a site everyone here uses? I am using sportsinteraction.com but I am not sure how much I like it yet. Seems to take longer to get my money than I would like.

    Thanks in advance.

Everyone has a different unit. Mine is $100. RedhottG2 is $500. Its just how much you bet on a game.

You can change the pointspread to your favor, like for instance. Temple -1 and Northern Illinios -4. you can play a 6 point teaser and have Temple +5 and Northern Illinois is +2. the payouts differ and you can do them for more than 2 teams. You should have an option to play a teaser at your book, but Ive never used it so I cant tell you how.
