I usually forget to make this one as the Clippers are one of the few teams I try really hard to ignore as I look over the lines...
BUT, as bad as they are, they always start games playing 'hot' (by Clippers standards, anyway), and more often than not lead home games at the end of the 1st Q by a point or three - only to crumble in the 2nd & 3rd, and finally roll over & die in the 4th to lose by the spread & then some...
This is generally a safe play on the road as well, where the lowly Clippers will be offered quite a few points.
ALWAYS TAKE 1Q LA Clippers at HOME!
Today, MINN -6.5 @ LAC, play is-
1Q LAC +2
BTW, I am leaning pretty strongly on taking MINN & laying the 6.5 points for the full game.
