I know nobody gives a shit about the Owls other than me. But they finished the season 5-7, 4-4 in the MAC, and if it wasnt for that Hail Mary by Buffalo a month ago, they would have been playing for the Mac Title and might have gotten to a bowl game.
Now I know they wouldnt have won the MAC, but this was a very good year for them, and I really think in a couple years, they will at least get to a bowl game.
There never gonna get the top High Schoolers in Philly. Ive watched back when I played in high school up to now, and all the good ones go to Penn St., Pitt, Syracuse, etc. But with Syracuse down and Paterno retiring soon, they might be able to grab one or two of them.
The fact that they played on TV more this season than I can remember is a big help to recruiting too.
