I don't think they will. They looked bad firing Tyrone without him getting his five years. They will give him his fifth year (original contract) and see what happens. If not they look worse than they already do. I have followed ND for over 40 years and am not too pleased with Weis and his losses.

Has he sucked? Absolutely. Does it look like is has lost control? Yes.

You can't keep firing coaches at that level. Davie. Willingham. Weis. ND needs some continuity if they are ever going to back to even an average team. Some embarrassing losses, a record no better than the aformentioned coaches who got fired, etc. Not much to support him. They will give him the chance to improve on this year. Nine plus wins next year or he will be gone.
