    Week 1 NFL

    Baltimore +4.5 (-113) 1st Half

Lots of motivation on both sides as Denver looks for a margin of revenge for last years bounce from the playoffs and Baltimore get to play the disrespected Super Bowl Winner card that also has to go on the road to kick off the season. I like the Ravens for the game as well, I just think too many points here IMO as Baltimore has the tools to take this to the wire and have a chance to win this one. However with the heat added to the altitude tonight, I am going to roll the dice on the short game in the hopes of limiting the effect of Peyton and his offense have on the Ravens Defense down the stretch.

Good Luck and hopefully this is the first, of many, great games this year

Curious why you say the Ravens are disrespected Super Bowl winners? Is it because they are opening on the road? That wasn't disrespect. It was because the Orioles are home tonight and the stadiums share parking and no agreement could be made.

I am on the other side of you. Maybe it is my hatred of the Ravens coming out, but I think the Ravens lost too much from last season. Flacco will always be a question mark, especially now with no true big receiver so to speak. While I am a Steelers fan, I don't expect much from the Steelers or Ravens this in the AFC North. Going to be turned upside down.

Good luck! How about you win the first half and I win the game?

Many ways to slice it, but yes, disrespected by their own town, the O's certainly should have accommodated the Ravens here to allow the game, but my intent is more having the Super Bowl Champs be a dog of more than a TD is a card I would be sure is being played in the Baltimore locker room. FWIW don't be shocked if the Ravens are a better team this year, esp. on defense. Not saying they are locks to repeat mind you, but don't sleep on them.

      Good Luck sir

All good points. I don't think I would have taken the Broncos if the line I had was 7.5, but liked it enough at 7. I guess we will see how this team does with all the changes.

Seeing a battle between the 20's here, looking for the Cards offense to struggle early and defense to hold the Rams in check.

                  Dallas -3.5 (-105)

All things come to an end, me thinks today is that time for the Giants run over Dallas in their new stadium.

Looking for traditional NFC East snot knocker here, as Redskins defense healthier and better than last years edition, and offense should be a bit more deliberate, and look to control clock to help keep RG3 upright. Eagles still learning new offense and do not have the most cerebral QB, so I am looking for them to not have it all put together in week 1.
