49ers ILB Reuben Foster (high-ankle sprain) has shed his walking boot.
Foster seems to be progressing quickly — he was claiming he would be ready for Week 2 — but he'll likely miss at least one more game after going down in Week 1.Comment

James Harrison has played just four snaps through the Steelers' first two games.
Even with some injuries to their front seven, the Steelers have kept 39-year-old Harrison glued to the sideline. "We know what James is capable of," coach Mike Tomlin said. "James will ready himself, and there will be a time in the season when we’ll call on his services, and he’ll deliver and deliver in a big way." Harrison was excellent in 2016, generating consistent heat. Right now, the Steelers would apparently rather go with their younger players. Perhaps they view Harrison as an ace in the hole, or perhaps he started to look his age in the offseason.Comment

Jerry Jones said Dak Prescott (ankle) will be ready for Week 3.
"He is going to be able to play Monday," Jones said. There never seemed to be much concern about Prescott's status, but it is still good to hear.Comment

Rob Kelley (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Kelley left Week 2 with a ribs issue, but he's merely dealing with a bruise. Though painful, Kelley is expected to play against the Raiders on Sunday night.Comment

Kelvin Benjamin (ribs. knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Benjamin got crunched in the end zone against the Bills, but he stayed in the game. He admitted he's just sore. With Greg Olsen (foot) on I.R., Benjamin could be in for a heavy spike in targets as a possible Week 3 breakout.Comment

Sam Bradford (knee) is practicing Wednesday.
As long as Bradford doesn't have any setbacks and his knee responds well to practice this week, he'll be out there against the Bucs on Sunday. Obviously, Bradford avoiding setbacks isn't something to take for granted.Comment

Rob Gronkowski (groin) is practicing on Wednesday.
Gronkowski has already said the groin injury he suffered in the Week 2 win over the Saints is minor. He's fully expected to suit up against the Texans on Sunday.
Danny Amendola (concussion) is also practicing Wednesday.Comment
