i was loving the packers today and may still take them but now that i saw the 75 % public money on them makes me want to shy away a little any thought s anyone...

i agree, the 2.5 line is scaring the shit outta me..its almost saying cards win by 10

I think the Packers are playing as well as anyone in the NFL and the Cards have some injuries. The Pack has been a great team ATS the last eight games and everyone is loving them as you have pointed out. Makes it a scary game and the Pack seem like an easy play. But it is never that easy! I like Green Bay but prefer the over as the best play in the game. I think a lot of points will be scored with a chance of both teams scoring in the 30's

Don't have a position yet on this gamw but might go over like GoBlue said. 5 point line swing is crazy imo and this game has too many question marks. Rofgers on the road, Boldin and Rodgers-Cromarties status, Packers weak road wins just to name a few

i just get nervous when its a crazy majority on one team, but if i like a team i will bet them, ive been burned enough betting with the public and still havent learned my lesson

when my book texted the spreads this morning he still had +2.5 for packers , just texted a few ago with packers -2.5, i never even noticed that the spread had jumped that much

5 point swing thats huge , and thats onereason why i was liking the packers so much getting points should be a good game this afternoon

It amazes me that people honestly think that because 75% on the poublic is on one side is the reason it lost

your 100% right they lost the game cuz of turnovers, but it is just like certain trends sometimes they are right sometimes they are wrong, saved me $220 today count that as good as a win

im not trying to be difficult or anything but sometimes when the percentages are that lopsided, VEGAS just gets the win more times than not, for whatever reason i dont know , i just try to side with VEGAS

I didnt even bet this game but by game time my book had the spread move 5 whole points from -2.5 to +2.5 at 10 am when he texted it then by noon he had changed it

im sure ill get burnt next game no one is 100% or id be living in vegas betting my savings on every game, im a 2 UNIT player just a small fish in the big ocean just trying to make a buck and or not lose my bucks

The public is right 50% of the time imo .I bet if you tracked everytime the public was 75% on one side it would be close to 50% win/loss. I've won tons of times being on the public side .That last one that comes to mind was GB/Chicago a few weeks agos .In that game the public was on GB 85% and I still won .

It just makes me a little irritated when people say the public was all over GB is why they lost .I did fours hours of research and my numbers said GB would win and it makes me feel like a idiot when people say I lost because I was on the publics side.When people say that it makes me think :"why waste my time looking at a game if the pubic is on that side" I lost because GB turned the ball over too much

I guess we all need to bet what wins us money

I won big on Arizona...but Liked GB at 1st...Took Ariz 1st H + 1/2 pt WON Ariz +3 Gm -135 WON...Ariz to score 1st WON S Breaston to catch over 4 passes -150...WON and UNDER 48.5 LOST this one by only 47.5 pts HAHAHA...Point is I doubled my Bankroll on this game...and I Liked GB...before crunching numbers and remembered how good Kurt Warner is in big games...Beat my Eags Last Year in Ariz in NFC Championship Gm...McNabb missed wide open recievers in 1st QTR and thats all QB Warner and the cards needed. Eags had real Decent D Last year, and I Think this yrs Cards are much better...O Line ... Tim Hightower and Beanie Wells with a 300+ lb Blocking FB/Lineman...Great Recivers and a D that is better than they showed vs GB...I Like Cards to win/cover vs Saints and see an Under 58...both teams can and will run the ball...in 2nd round of playoffs...teams get more conservative = CLOSE GMS and UNDERS...Not many Turovers this week...both QBs are Accurate with ball and 58 is 10 pts higher than the 48.5 I played under last sunday...I was at Eags gm where Eags beat Det in 95' ...58-37...was the highest scoring gm in NFL playoffs till last sunday...I Think Bears won 72-0 years ago...still not 96 pts WOW Good Luck...Cards+ pts and Under 58 or so...
