Why did they f*cking trade Mcnabb makes no god damn sense.

From the outside looking in, I can see why people think that. No doubt, he is the best qb we ever had, but after 11 years, we know what we are going to get with him. We will get to the playoffs, maybe win a game, but no super bowl.

Its time to see what Kolb can do, because we wont win a superbowl with McNabb.

Pretty much. Although I was in the minority a few years ago around here, when McNabb got hurt, and AJ Feeley played real well and got us in the playoffs, same for when Garcia did it. Everyone wanted those guys instead of McNabb. To me, it was a no brainer, McNabb should have been the QB.

I did think it was time for him to go after the end of last season though.

In this city, we dont give a shit how good or how bad you are, we want a title, anything else is a failure. I know its stupid, we are lucky that the Eagles are a contender every year. There are only a couple that can say they have contended every year for the last 8 years, and we still aint happy. they will get this year to take a step back a bit, I think everyone realizes that, but they better take 2 steps forward or that will be the beginning of the end for Reid IMO.

You will see, if the Phillies dont win the WS this year, the season will be considered a failure, with all the pitching we aquired to compliment our hitters. Its world series or bust now.
