    Packers at Vikings

I bet on the Viking last week, and shame on me. They played like a team that have given up on the season.

And why shouldn’t they? Head coach Brad Childress has lost his team and won’t be back next year. Brett Favre also won’t be back. His body is failing him every week. He is only there to continue is iron man streak – even if it is to the detriment of the team.

Minnesota has one of the best running backs in the league, yet Adrian Peterson only had 15 carries last week. You would expect the Minnesota Vikings to run AP hard against the 20th ranked Packers run defense (114.2 ypg), but not with Favre under center. Favre and his 18th ranked passing offense is going to try and test Green Bay’s 11th ranked pass defense (211.8 ypg).

Green Bay needs this win to stay in pace with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North. I love the Packers laying three-points on the road in Minnesota today. They won’t have any issues covering that spread.

    My Pick: Green Bay Packers
    Pointspread: -3

@YoungTRK484 - I just think the Vikings are done. I think they players are done. They don't like Childress and don't play for him. He knows he is gone at the end of the season - if not sooner. I think GB wins by 7 or more.

          GL!

Rice has missed the entire season. It is hard for me to believe he will be physically fit enough to be much of a factor.

I personally think the Vikings should start Jackson. He is most likely going to be the starter next season unless they draft or sign a free agent. It isn't too soon to think about next season, but what does Childress care. He knows his time is all but up.

I LOVE GB today. I think this line is too small. DSI increased the odds instead of the line today. They don't move off the -110 mark much. I'm fine with that since I would have probably bought the 1/2 point or point if they pushed the line up.

                  Hey, thanks!

Too bad the damn Jets blew there lead and only won my 3. But 1-1 is better than 0-2!

I'm done until tomorrow night, if I even play MNF.

Jets W is good enough for me, but yes the gambling gods got them back for stealing the W against Cleveland last week. Loved the pick though, thought it looked good up 23-10 in the 4th.

Exactly, I was kicking myself for not throwing the Jets and Packers on a parlay. By the end of the 4th, I was happy I didn't.

Oh well, what can you do. Shit happens.
