The Oakland Raiders lost yesterday to the Pittsburgh Steelers. That loss opened to the door for the San Diego Chargers (4-5 SU, 4-5 ATS) to move into a second place tie with the Raiders at 5-5 with a win on Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos (3-6 SU, 3-6 ATS).
The game kicks off on television at 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN and is expected to be a high scoring affair.
The Chargers were expected to be the leaders in the AFC West division. Just as they did in previous years, they started off slow going 1-3 in the month of September. San Diego has gone 3-2 since and has moved into third place in the division. The Chargers own a one game lead over the Denver Broncos.
