To me it is all about the defense. The Jets rank 3rd overall (13th against the pass, 3rd against the run). Tom Brady is playing extremely well this season with a lack of offensive talent, but even he has his limitations. If the Patriots have issues running, the Jets will be able to focus on the pass. Even if they do run the ball, the Jets' defense is only allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 50.3% of their passes.
New England's defense ranks 32nd overall (32 against the pass, 18th against the run). Their passing defense is allowing 68.3% of opposing quarterbacks' passes to be completed. That is great for Sanchez and his playmaker Santonio Holmes. I like that number even more for the fact that it is 13 points higher than Sanchez's completion percentage.
I just can't see the New England Patriots' defense shutting down this offense enough and I am more than happy to take the four points that BookMaker is giving me. It might be a close game, and the Patriots might squeak it out in the end, but not by much.
