Sorry I haven't been around much, had a quickpick last week on the Eagles over Texans in the Thursday Night game. Had a few commitments last weekend and was unable to get around, so just a 1-0 week.
Had another quickpick this last week on the Colts Thursday night and got brutally backdoored on that one. Painful.
2 picks for the early games:
Jacksonville -4 vs. Oakland
Love the Jags in this game. They've looked impressive of late and have covered 5 straight games. MJD has been on fire and looks like a second half MVP candidate. Oakland has been severely inconsistent, has looked bad against power run teams, and is set up for a letdown after the high of destroying the CHargers last week. Factor in the west coast team flying cross country playing at 1 pm, and I love the Jags.
St. Louis +9 @ New Orleans
This is a divisional line. NFC South has 27 wins so far this year, NFC West has 19. Still, I feel this line is too big. New Orleans has looked unimpressive with wins vs. Dallas and CIncinnati the past few weeks. I like Sam Bradford to keep it close, and maybe I will be the benefactor of a backdoor cover for once. The Rams have played a lot of good, close games this year, and I expect this to be the same. NFC West champions I feel. Having said that, I can't wait to wager against them in the playoffs.
Enjoy fellas!
