About a year ago I did a little looking into a big data set that BE posted that contained information on fighter ages. I thought the best way to look at it was just straight winning percentage by age. This is what I got. (The faded bars have too little data to be significant).

I thought it was interesting that performance pretty much monotonically decreased with age. I assume this is largely because as fighters get better in their early years, the quality of opponents they face improves, while the opposite doesn't occur nearly to the same degree at the end of their career.
I didn't see as much obvious dependence with KO/TKO as they did:
