I think we get a bad wrap on the bad fans thing.
I think we are some of the best fans in the country. We go to the game regardless of how shitty our team is, buy the merchandise, etc. If you dont perform, we let you know about it, but if you win, we let you know too.
I think asshole fans is more appropriate.Comment

I think most of it comes from how you boo guys that leave town, even if they performed well when they were on Philly teams. Here in Indy, when Peyton comes back to play the Colts, he will get a standing ovation. If it were Philly, someone would throw a beer at him.
A guy like McNabb, when he came back, it was kind of like a golf clap the first time he came out, then we booed the shit out of him for the rest of his life, and we took pride in watching him flame out in DC.
But when Brian Dawkins came back, they cheered that guy louder then the guys on the team. Same with Allen Iverson.
For the most part though, if you aint with us, your against us, so we boo you and hope you get hurt.
If Peyton left here, I think he would get cheered maybe the first couple plays, thanks for bringing us a championship, then we would be hoping someone would fuck his neck up.Comment

Bruce was also bad ass, though. And despite the fact that he didn't have any professional bouts, it's well-documented that he did get into a lot of altercations and it was just these kinds of street situations that caused him to re-think his approach to fighting. So like Chuck, there's a lot about Bruce that people don't know. Most think he was just a kung fu guy who was in some movies.
I did think Gene LeBell's comment in that recent documentary was interesting, though. It was something like, If you want to bet on Bruce and Chuck, then you take Bruce and I'll take Chuck and I'll leave with a fist full of greenbacks.I heart cockComment

I recall seeing an interview with Chuck and the interviewer asked who would win a real fight between he and Bruce. Chuck just laughed... he goes "I was a champion fighter, a real full contact fighter. It wouldn't even be a fair fight." I think that is probably pretty accurate. Plus I think Bruce Lee was like 130 pounds.2012: +19.33

Most of the time that is the case.

He was just here a couple weeks ago, giving the ball to the refs for game 6 against Boston. The place was super loud when he came out.Comment
