Shogun inside the distance...pretty good. Elliot marshall dropped vera. I think Vera would have a hard time holding shogun down. Standing up it should be all Shogun. Vera does have good standup but Shogun is a killer on the feet. Anyone disagree?

Rani yahya doesn't look to bad at +170. I remember him outwrestling/outgrappling MTB. Granted MTB has not looked that great recently. Roop and Poirier dominated Grispi.

Oli thompson vs phil defries. I wouldnt be suprise to see thompson win this. He is a big strong looking guy. He might be hard for defries to take down and submit.

Yeah that is my opinion. This one is as close to a lock as we are getting on this card IMO. I like Machida to beat Bader but Bader could theoretically outwrestle him. I wouldn't be shocked, he did it to rampage. Not that rampage looks that great anymore. Also he had an injured knee?? Anyways, I see Bader as slow but packing really good power. I think Machida will be able to counter him really well.

I would have hit Oli Thompson's line good at +210. I don't think Defrie's takedowns are THAT good...Thompson has some serious power and showed decent T3D against Shawn Jordan.

I also like Moraga a bit at +210...Gomez is a very good all around grappler, but he is going to have a very hard cut on short notice and Moraga is a good wrestler from what I can see. Gomez has trouble making 125 with full camps; he has been posting in the MMA section on bodybuilding.com for years. I am sure making 125 with 2 weeks notice is going to be rough for him, he is usually 155-160.

Took Damarcus Johnson enough to win a unit at +175. I'm still shocked Mike Swick is a heavy favorite when he hasn't fought in two years and got knocked out as well as submitted in his last fight.

Machida should be able to win that easy IMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see Machida take Bader down, but I really don't think Bader can get Machida down consistently. Obviously Machida should be at a big advantage standing.

Shogun is going to waste Vera.

I also like Yahya at +170. Grispi is a can and Yahya is solid. Yahya is not an athlete, but I still think he has plenty for Grispi.

Prado is a MT striker, a big powerful guy. But he is a complete can smasher, I don't think he has fought someone with more than a few fights, and no one with a decent record. From what I understand, his takedown defense and ground game leave something to be desired. Davis should win easy, unless he eats a shot on the way in. I think Davis will submit him.

I have th emost confidence in Machida right now. I am a little worried about whether Shogun is going to show up or not, and this Prado guy is a wild card.

I am thinking about going a little heavier on Machida. How is Bader going to win this?

Bader only wins by fluke. I don'tsee Bader being able to turn this into a wrestling match. I mean its possible, but unlikely. Machida might even take him down.

I also think that Machida is going to win, but I have a hard time laying -350 on someone who arguably lost 4 of his past 5 fights(since he arguably lost the first Rua fight). With his only victory in the past 3 years beeing to a 48 years old man.
