I have already put something on Ricci for the TUF 16 finale. Colton Smith did not impress me with getting hit so much and going straight to wrestling mode. I think Ricci is too good to be held down and controlled for 3 rounds.
I haven't watched TUF since TUF 10, and I regret it not at all.
I regret not knowing shit about the fighters when these Finale's come around. And I guess I feel like I should just be more aware of what's going on in the industry.
I think Pat Barry has a good shot in this one. Shane is a little more well rounded as you said before. Pat has some decent takedown defense. I bet his ground game has progressed a little bit by now. Still probably far from decent but I doubt Shane is really a world beater on the ground. I wonder who the better striker is though. Anyone have an opinion on that?
Anyone think Mitrione beats Roy? I think Mitrione moves a lot quicker around the cage and has a big reach advantage. I think that might make it hard for roy to get inside and take him down. I doubt Mitrione can submit or knock Roy out though. I guess he would have to win by 5 round decision.
Mike Rio is getting bet and the line on John Cofer is getting better. I really like Cofer at +odd. I think he would edge Rio in striking and their wrestling probably cancel out. I gain this view all from watch their last fight and no other fights so may not be accurate. Hence only put 1u on Cofer. anyone want to say anything on this match?
i also like Brooklins and Mitrione as huge underdogs but have not made a bet on them yet.
Yeah i thought about brookins as well. Poirer seems to be pretty good though. I do think brookins has good wrestling and a very solid chin. Poirier is probaly a lot more technical though.
