Now that's how they need to be stacking these FOX shows. We need title fights and big marquee names on these cards if they want to make good use of the contract. Fight Night type bookings or just a step above that is fine for FX and Fuel cards but when the card is on a primetime network the shit has to matter more than just Bisping/Sonnen or Evans/Davis. Casuals respond to championship fights no matter if they know the champion or not.

Yeah, UFC on FOX 5 coming up is awesome, UFC on FOX 6 is just as good...maybe a little bit better.

I think Cerrone will be a slight dog to Pettis, and I kind of like Cerrone in this fight. Hard fight to call...gotta watch some tape

DJ vs Dodson, I think it will be a close fight off the top of my head, with DJ being slightly better in all areas. Dodson DOES have some power for a 125 lb midget though.

Rampage/Glover...WAR RAMPAGE, but Glover will probably beat his ass

I'll be on Cerrone as a dog. Close fight, but considering Pettis layoff and his health, ill go with Cowboy.

I highly doubt that Cerrone will be a dog here. He's looked like a beast lately, the Diaz fight notwithstanding.

Pettis lost to Guida and then beat Stephens (convincingly, but not super impressively) and then KOd J-Lo.

I think Cerrone wins. His wrestling is good enough to keep Pettis from holding him down and he is probably a better striker. That said, Pettis is pretty nasty.

Fan favorite Clay Guida, an Illinois native, will make his featherweight debut in Chicago against Japanese standout Hatsu Hioki. Also at 145 pounds, contenders Ricardo Lamas and Erik Koch will meet in a bout that could determine in the next opponent for the winner of February's Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar title fight.

That's going to be an interesting fight. I don't know about taking Guida at -190.

He'll be the much bigger guy, the better wrestler outright, and from top position I don't see how Hioki submits him. Even if Hioki gets on top I don't think he can submit Guida. Guida is probably the better striker here and there's always that crazy ass gameplan Guida employs where he goes full retard as long as he has to in order to either find an opening or until the fight is over.

You could be right. I'd take Guida as a small fave or better. But Hioki could just treat him like he treated Bartimus.

We only ever really saw Guida manhandled by Bendo and to some extent Diego Sanchez. Both of those guys are quite big for Lightweights. Hioki is a natural 145er here. I don't see it.
