    UFC on Fuel TV 8

UFC on FUEL TV 8 set for Saitama Super Arena in Japan on March 2nd

I am guessing Gomi gets a spot in the co-main event. Maybe against the winner of Melvin Guillard/Jamie Varner?

Not sure what they will do for the headlining fight...maybe Cung Le again for all the azns?

It's also going to be at LHW:

I am not moving to LHW, just one fight, couldnt find a matchup at 185, everyone is matched up or hurt in top ten & Wand doesnt want to cut
                    -Stann

Interesting. If Wand can stay awake for three rounds then I could certainly see him winning. But I think that's kind of a big IF.

Stann puts Wanderlei to sleep I think. Power to chin ratio is in his favor by too wide a margin to miss for 3 rounds against Wanderlei.

Apparently in Wand's last 7 losses, he's gone to sleep 4 times. His chin is obviously busted as shit.

I wonder what it is from a physiological perspective that causes someone to go from almost never getting KOd to getting KOd repeatedly.

It’s hard not to be in awe of Tito Ortiz’s head. So imperious in its shape and proportions. So defiantly unbowed. So … well, frankly, so unbelievably mammoth. But does it help him take a punch?

That's an interesting article, but it doesn't really address the question.
