uh....barao might be -200 at best. Why the love for him? he thrives on beating wrestle boxers and his striking is extremely overrated. good leg kicks and jab sure, but not much else.

Probably because he hasn't lost a fight since his debut 8 years ago... and he has soundly defeated some pretty great fighters in Faber, Pickett, and Jorg. He has a pretty nice ground game to go with his leg kicks and jab. All said, he is pretty goddamned good.

all wrestle boxers. All 3 of those guys are better grapplers than strikers. Renan struggled with Cole Escovedo.
Plus this will be a fight where he doesnt hold a massive height advantage.
not being able to outstrike him or do anything with the takedown. Barao was outstruck in the first two rounds, yet escovedo kept jumping guard and threatening with subs as barao couldnt figure him out.
Not sure if it was the length that bothered him or maybe the kicks. Short Wrestleboxers basically windmill their punches and are easy to counter or evade with movement. I simply think Mcdonald is the toughest test, standing, that he will have faced in a while.
