You know what, you're right. In a lot of ways it is like Shakespeare with its plot twists and over the top dramatic turns. It is just missing the insights about the human condition and revealing truths about character and growth... so another way of looking at it is that it is a soap opera. That said, it is at least live theater, so it has to be seen as superior to a soap opera. Maybe you should talk to Vince McMahon and class the act up a little by adding in a little more complex character development (as opposed to the pretty standard babyface vs. heel set up).

I thought the fight or flight shit he was on vs Carwin was an aboration. I chalked it up as Shane hits like a mofo, he hung in there and came back and won.
