Well, I was really just piling on. I am glad you're not homeless this month, but that's a losing strategy.

You are being a pussy. Get a job waiting tables or something. You are borrowing money at usurious rates from horrible people in order to eat and pay rent rather than demean yourself by working a shitty job temporarily.

I know you aren't asking for advice, but since you are posting your financial woes, I don't feel bad chiming in. I am sure you know your situation isn't good, but I don't want to see you in way worse situation. It is one thing to be broke bohemian lifestyle chasing your art, it is another thing going into debt to do it.

Well as I've already mentioned I am looking for another job and have been for a couple of months. As for how much more dire can it get, it can get worse. I at least expect to be able to cover my rent for November, so that buys me an extra month to keeping applying for jobs and try to figure something out. And, even though it sucks to run up my cards, I'm pretty thankful I have them right now.

Divorce was over August 19th. I started betting August 30th.

And betting is too stressful for me to do all year. I lost a couple months off my life today. After football season, my ass with need a few month break.

Well that's why I'm working the job I got now. I went out and just tried to find "a job"--any job, for the most part--and that's what I ended up with. The reason I target computer jobs is because it's what I know and the pay is decent.

Although I would have to get more desperate before I shoveled shit. I'm not there yet.
