One other thing to keep in mind. . .

With DSLRs, there is a 12 minute recording limit. This is because they can't create video files greater than 4 GB. So if you think you're going to want to use it to do long recordings, you'll want a camcorder like the one I liked you to the last time we talked about this.

Thanks for the feedback. I remembered the 12 minute limit, that will probably be enough for my purposes, I also want to use it as a regular camera that my wife can use... so I am leaning that way. It is only like $479 on sale, so that appeals to me.

Just watched American Psycho again for the first time in years. Great movie. Christian Bale has a great physique, though he could stand to put on a bit more mass.

I just watched him again in the Fighter. He is one of the best actors of our generation IMO.

The scene at the end when He and Mickey (marky mark) were sitting on the couch, and he was talking about the pride of Lowell and starting tearing up as He was talking, that was pretty impressive shit.

I don't know about that. Because the scene in the apartment where he's talking to the rental agent seems to suggest that SOMETHING happened. I think it was meant to be ambiguous.

He's a fine actor, but I've actually kind of come to dislike him a little. Back in the day when he did American Psycho and Equilibrium, my friend Brian and I thought he was just the coolest motherfucker alive. And we thought we had stumbled across this AWESOME actor who was going to do all these super-cool indie projects. But after Equilibrium, he really hasn't done much that has increased my appreciation of him. And I also hear that in real life he's kind of an asshole.

I thought Public Enemies was just okay and The Machinist, while his ability to make himself into a concentration camp victim is impressive, was just not that entertaining of a movie.

But yes, Equilibrium is a virtual low-ish budget masterpiece of sci-fi action.
