If you liked the way the dialogue in The Avengers was written, you'll probably like Firefly. One good thing about the series is that it got canceled before it started to suck, so it's only 14 episodes (+ movie) and even the worst of them is pretty good. Also, the movie, Serenity, basically serves as the series' final episode and conclusion so if you can avoid it, you don't really want to watch that first.

He'll be hard pressed to convince me he didn't take steroids to gain that much weight in that period of time. Granted, just by the trailers it looks like some of it was fat. But he clearly also put on a lot of muscle. Maybe muscle memory helped, too. But I assume steroids were involved.
