I have been pounding the bankroll management drum since day 1. Everyone here does a pretty good job of staying within their means and if someone does get wild, they are aware that they are doing it. Overbetting and chasing kills way more bettors than poor picks. I think we generally do a good job of talking each other off the cliff when things are going sour, and I think that is a big reason why we have all stayed in the game for several years.

Yeah, that's true. I've never really put myself in a position to go bankrupt.

Sometimes I do think I'm a bit TOO conservative, though. Lately I've been trying to see how I can be more aggressive while also minimizing my risk of going broke. That's hard to do when you only have about 20u total in your accounts, but I'm trying to put together a system that groups bets of various risk levels into a series, with the goal to show a profit over a series rather than only on single bets. We'll see how it goes.

I think its mostly because We seem to win pretty consistantly for the most part.

I've noticed it's pretty damn rare than any of us has a losing year. Maybe losing days, weeks or months . . . but at the end of the year we all seem to come out ahead.

Yeah i shit the bed a few times this year but i wasn't being very cautious with my bets. Keeping yourself under control is the most important part of this IMO. I do think we build off of one another as well. Without IWS I probably would have quit a long time ago.

I think I'd still be betting because it makes the fights more interesting and I also am a big fan of money and have proven to myself that I CAN make at least some money doing this. But IWS has definitely added a certain dimension and satisfaction to the enterprise that I'm sure otherwise wouldn't be there.

I'm aware of the contract situation but I think he and the UFC will figure something out. But we'll see. Bellator's been picking up some good guys lately. If that trend continues things could get interesting.

Are you aware of what it means to call a black man an uncle tom? When I said he'll make a nice addition to Bellator it had nothing to do with contracts and everything to do with the fact that he's only about one step down from publicly calling Daniel Cormier a ******. Couple that with the fact that Dana already doesn't like Nelson.
