I watched StarGate the movie (I think there is a Star Gate tv show too, but never seen that). Fan of the movie when it came out. I may need to rewatch that.

Kurt Russell, pretty bad ass IMO. He was Jack Burton, Reno Hightower, and as mentioned, Leutenant Gabriel Cash. So, really, how could he not be celebrated?

Breaking Bad is great. I just wrapped up the latest season and will probably start watching the final season as the final episode nears. Never seen Walking Dead. SofA is pretty good, but I got bored with it after the first 3 seasons and quit it. I am currently in need of a new show.

That sucks. Struve was just starting to get good. Since nelson knocked him out his record is six and two. All six were stoppages. His win over stipe miocic is even more impressive considering what stipe did to roy. Tis a shame.

The TV show looks like shit but I just watched the movie yesterday and thought it was pretty solid. Not great, but good. And very imaginative with some great effects, especially for 1994, including some miniature work of the sort that you just don't really see anymore because everything now is CGI.

I've been going back through his movies lately. In the past couple of weeks I've watched Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China, Stargate and Miracle. And of course Tombstone is never far from my mind.

I also liked Tango & Cash, Backdraft, and the underrated Death Proof and Soldier.

But shock of shocks: I noticed that I hadn't seen him in a while so I checked his IMDB page and he is rumored for Fast 7. That would be awesome.

Try out Hell on Wheels. It's on Netflix. It starts a bit slow so give it the standard three episodes before deciding but I think it's awesome.

And if you torrent, try out Vikings. Great show. Can't wait for Season 2.

Yeah, that is some bullshit! Damn. Sucks for Struve. He should have a solid 5+ more years in the sport before thinking about retirement.

I saw a few bits and pieces of Californication a couple years ago. I may check that out next. I tried to get started on "Fringe" a couple days ago, but it just didn't grab me. I watched Prison Break this summer too on someone's recommendation, and it was not that good. I should have quit after the first season, because it got completely ridiculous after that, and yet, I still watched it. I decided not to stick with things that are boring me.

Yeah, Prison Break goes off the deep end after a while. I watched the complete series. The last season is beyond a joke. This is the first season of Ray Donavon so there is only 7-8 episodes to watch. Its about a guy who is a "clean up" man for the rich people of California. Never heard of or watched Fringe, what's it about?

Season 2 was a step down.
Season 3 was shitty and I didn't finish it.

I have been meaning to do the Wire for a while, but just can't pull the trigger, I don't really like cop shows that much. Californication looks good, I think I will try that. I may give Spartacus another chance too while I wait for GoT season 3.

House of Cards was good. I also watched Orange is the New Black and enjoyed that as well.

Spartacus seasons 1 and 1.5 were excellent. But season 2 runs off the rails.

If you saw Kick Ass and Kick Ass 2, you'd understand the Awesome of it all.

Went and saw this today. Pretty interesting and powerful, and it reinforced what I've felt for a while, and that's it's probably inhumane to keep most wild animals in captivity.
