Think of the fight Jacare had with Kennedy. He arguably lost that fight, and I think Okami is both a better wrestler and a better striker than Kennedy.

(And both a better wrestler and striker than Jacare).

The funny thing is that it does look like he gives him a little nod, but there are a lot easier ways to throw a fight than having someone bury their heel in your face.
