Does anybody dispute my feelings on Guida/Mendes and Vera/Rothwell being likely to go the distance?

I doubt guida submits mendes. The only thing guida goes for is chokes and mendes trains at alpha male somi dont see that happening. Guida rarely knocks anyone out but it isnt inconceivable that he could. Mendes has some power but of course guida is super tough. I could see mendes hurting him and latching on a choke. Al in all i see it going the distance. -150 is pretty good.
Vera rothwell outcome is much harder to predict. Id be shocked if rothwell submits vera. Id be shocked if vera knocks out rothwell. Id be pretty suprised if vera subbed rothwell. That probably isnt happening. The problem is i wouldnt be suprised if rothwell knocked out vera.
Shogun rocked vera. Eliot marshall rocked vera. Thigo silva manhandled veras asshole. Jon jones nearly killed him in three minutes. Randy couture probably should have lost that fight but he still got the win. Veras last legit win where he actually looked good was when he fought krystof sozynski and that guy ended up retiring shortly after. Before that his wins were mike patt and reese andy and i dont who the fuck they are and im not looking it up.
Ok shogun knocked out vera. Eliot marshall almost knocked him out. Old bjj only fabricio werdum knocked him out back in the day and jon jones knocked him out.
I wouldnt take it unless you get plus numbers and i certainly wouldnt bet vera. Im not saying rothwell is amazing but he is probabl going to be like 40 pounds heavier and hes going to negate the reach that vera is used to having. Vera will have no reach advantage in this fight. Josh barnett vs frank mir is tough to call too. I wouldnt be suprised to see mir win that one. I could see him doing better in the striking exchanges. Barnett can probably control the clinch though. I think at least. I like what you said about mir getting tired though, thats a good point. Although he did go to jacksons for his last camp. Nikita krylov has almost literally beat all cans. He lost tho the same guy twice from the same move. Both losses were from the past year and they were both arm triangle chokes. Sao is a black belt in jiu jitsu and a former member of themolypic wrestling team in australia. Hes gotta have a good arm triangle choke. Oh and also the guy that brat krylov twice did it in his first and third fights. Ive gotta like sao at this line. He has bean beating crap fighters for a while now as well but their record swerent as horrible as krylovs opponents records. Sao is also more experienced in wrestling, bjj, and mma in general. He is a little older though which concerns me. On paper sao should blow this guy away. It should be a takedown and submission or ground and pound for the win. Sao is listed as 290 pounds though so i gotta wonder if he is a gasser.
Varner tibau is too tough to call. I could see either guy winning or either guy finishing. Varner by knockout or tibau by knockout or by submission.1 unit = 300 $Comment

I wwtched two soa fights. He was able to pick up mcccorkle and slam him. Thats pretty impressive. However daniel cormier did the exact same thing to him. Of course cormier isnpretty badass.1 unit = 300 $Comment

I watched some krylov fights, this guy doesnt look like he is very good. Maybe he can pull off some kind of leglock or get really lucky standing but this guy looks really raw.1 unit = 300 $Comment

Well i take back what i said about couture having some value. Iaquinta is a wrestler. I figured he wasnt a wrestler becaus chiesa took him down and tapped him out so fast. I watched his fighh against audinwood and he tagged audinwood early on and then got rocked by audinwood pretty badly and took him down. From there he got armbarred.1 unit = 300 $Comment

Well he is the one that took down Audinwood. He also beat Myles Jury who is turning out to be a pretty damn good fighter. I still think Couture could win this but I am not as gung ho as I was before. I could see Couture beating this guy at range though with his striking. I still haven't watched the Myles Jury Vs Iaquinta fight video though. There in lies the ancient Chinese secret to who wins the fight.1 unit = 300 $Comment
