    Re: Evans-Rampage UFC 114

What are the odds on the prop bet about whether Rampage will kill himself or a baby if he loses? I would bet it @ -150.

I fear for his mental stability, and I now think Rashad is going to beat him in a boring decision. Too much ego on the line, neither guy will do anything for fear of getting dropped. Rashad is going to win via obnoxious head movement + 1 takedown at the end of each round.

I dont think that Rampage will be scared of Evans dropping him and his iron chin. I can see it the other way though, evans being a little timid to strike with rampage and play it safe

I think they will circle for good 2 minutes. Evans is always jumpy in the striking area, and he will not want to enage. But Rampage usually doesn't push forward that much himself. He usually catches guys with a counter punch. Rashad has never pushed forward in the striking.

I think there is going to be a lot of boos. I hope they double KO each other personally. I don't know how much Rampage's head is in the fight though. I will be cheering for Rampage, because you guys are all on him, but I now think Rashad is going to beat him.

To be fair, the last time Rampage fought at a time when I was sure he was mentally unglued, he KOd Wandy.

true, but Wandy's performances in the UFC take some of the Shine off of that KO.

Losing spirited decisions to Chuck and Rich, flatlining Jardine, and beating up Bisping?

Anyone seen the Duffee/Assuerio Silva fight?

I just watched it and honestly wasn't super impressed. He obviously had control of the fight, but his wrestling didn't look great and his punches actually looked a little slow. I'll just say that he didn't look like a beast.

Now that I've done some more research I really do not understand the line being as high as it is.

                      Re: Evans-Rampage UFC 114

Chuck is done. So losing to Chuck is sort of a blow, seeing as everyone else was knocking Chuck into another dimension.
No shame in losing to Franklin, but a loss is a loss.
He Ko'd Jardine, shocking. He, Houston Alexander, Bader, and Thiago Silva can joint HOF now.
He damn near lost to Bisping, and had he not knocked him down with about 30 seconds to go, he would have lost. Also, he was tailor made to beat Bisping and Jardine.

So yeah, his UFC run hasn't really impressed. He is 2-3 and could easily be 1-4. So knocking him out doesnt carry the same luster it did a few years ago.

Not that it is not a quality win for Rampage, just not quite as illustrious as it once was.

He is definately being overvalued. No question at all. But he is ripped, so.... he is obviously good.

I had Silva winning that fight pretty soundly.

This is from a pretty gassed Thiago. If Rampage connects, Rashad is going to be doing the stanky leg...again

Thiago said he was too tired and couldn't go in for the kill. He was hoping Rashad would come back at him so he could counter and get a knockout.

I was pretty fucking worried there for a minute considering I had a bet on Rashad.
