That stoppage was justified. He landed two solid shots and a third grazing shot before Cane even hit the mat. After that he landed three more shots(one to the neck but still) by the time Herb Dean even got there. a total of 6 unblocked and unanswered blows is grounds for stoppage. Cane was fucked even if it had been allowed to continue.

Yeah I couldn't get anything better than even odds on Kim when I tried for an Arb, so I waited hoping it would get better the closer to fight time it got. Now I'm hoping Amir feels alot better than he did yesterday with the trouble making weight.

I never said it was a good stoppage, but it was justified. I'd say it was fair to stop a fight where in a total of 6 punches thrown and landed somehow while the guy on the recieving end is already rocked and off his feet for half of them is a fair time for a stoppage.

We've seen plenty of bad stoppages, and even a few that should have ended sooner. I won't argue with that stoppage though.

This would normally been one of those rare full unit--or at least .75u--underdog bets for me, but I dunno, I guess I just thought Amir's looked go overall and was a little timid. I should not have been, obviously.
