LOL. That's funny, considering Rashad gases in every one of his fights that goes past round 2. I agree though. These guys don't know how to pace themselves.

That's what he said. I remember reading it in an interview. I was kind of surprised too, but it made sense considering that a damn-near-finished opponent was right in front of him and he didn't do shit about it.

I would have asked him "if you had no intention of trying to win why didnt you just leave the cage and go home?"

To be fair, he did try to finish him. That's when he gassed himself out. You see it all the time, a guy gets overzealous going for a finish and kills himself.

Hard to make anything of that. Tatame translations are notoriously bad and you miss all the nuances of what a guy is saying.

Its inexcuseable for any fighter to gas out in a 3 round fight. If you cant fight 3 rounds how are you ever going to be a champ and fight a 5 round fight? It would be like a boxer gassing in a 7 round fight.

to make matters worse alot of MMA fighters gas in one round.

Its inexcuseable for any fighter to gas out in a 3 round fight. If you cant fight 3 rounds how are you ever going to be a champ and fight a 5 round fight? It would be like a boxer gassing in a 7 round fight.

I think it depends more on how you pace yourself. If you know you're only fighting 3 rounds you can fight at a higher pace. It's not exactly black and white.

Just throwing this out there

I can see Rampage, if he ko’s Rashad, getting a couple extra shots in like he tried on Sliva, and trying to get cut from the UFC. I keep hearing how he hates the way they do shit now, and he sounds to me like he doesn’t want to fight for them anymore. This would be about the only way he could get out of his contract if he really wanted too.
