His last fight against Hague...he cut from 280. He had no real training camp for that fight. He won the first two rounds, gassed and got beat down the third. He claimed it was a very difficult cut to 265. Now he trained a full camp with Brock Lesnar and he is weighing in at 255. 25 pound difference. I think this guy will do well in this fight. His standup was beating Hague for two rounds and he has decent wrestling. Schaub only has standup.

This should make you feel a bit better Scientist. It actually makes me feel better. I'm pretty heavy on Tusch. Multi-units.

Diego's natural weight wasn't around 185, just like Kenny Florian they were given the option to get on the show if they did it at 185 so they took the opportunity. Sotiropoulus' natural weight is close to 185 which is why he looks like that. He's REALLY cutting 25-30lbs to get to weight wheras Diego is only cutting like 22-23lbs at the very most to get to 155.

I think it may have something to do with it, but there's more to it. George was fighting at 170 on the show and he looked fuck up then, too. I think he's just got a weird body. He has the Josh Barnett disease.

At least now we know who the larger fighter really is between Lesnar and Carwin. Did anyone else see that Carwin was wearing sneakers for the staredown to make him seem closer to Lesnars height? Too funny.


Just because a guy makes massive weight cuts on a regular basis doesn't mean they can't go 3 rounds at 155lbs. Just look at Thiago Alves. Dude went 3 rounds with Koscheck clinching him to death and 5 rounds with GSP putting weight on his chest and he looked decent for a guy who cuts almost 50lbs to make weight after 25 minutes.

Yes but that's when he's not training. He might come into camp at 210, but he loses a lot of that in training camp. When he goes to actually cut water to make weight he's most likely in the low 190s.

Walk around weight =/= fight weight
