BJ has some pretty good footwork along with head movement to avoid getting hit more then 7 times by Diego Sanchez, or barely getting hit by Sean Sherk(BJ had reach over Sherk but his footwork played the part for most of it). Plus, we're not talking about above average but not elite footwork and head movement. We're talking blatantly obvious lack of footwork and head movement like in the gif there. Gonzaga is no world class striker by any means at all and he landed two flush right hands in a row, even after backing off for half a second before throwing the second one. again, Carwins power is the only reason he is 12-0. Without that freakish punching power I can honestly see him being 8-4 or maybe even 10-2. He still would have beaten Mir with that game plan but can we say the same about EVERY other fighter he faced?
