I figured it might be good to start a thread like this so we can all keep track of our YTD results. Feel free to include any data that you might think is relevant. All I can think of is total units up or down, units by org, and picks record/units for favorites and underdogs as well as units on parlays/props.

Units overall: +11.76

Units/UFC: +11.73
Units/WEC: +0.28
Units/Strikeforce: -0.25

Favorites: 22-6, +10.55u
Underdogs: 6-11, +2.49u

Parlays/Props: 0-7, -1.75u (<-- Obviously my luck has been abysmal on these.)

Hmm. . . That's a good question. I haven't bet one of those in forever so it didn't even cross my mind.

I'd probably throw it in with the favorites, but I guess it doesn't really matter.

The over I did in the Wlad-Chambers fight was -110 on both sides so I was just wondering

I'd put it as a favorite just because there's something special about calling a dog right. But that's just me.

I'd be well ahead in my WEC bets if it wasn't for fucking Miguel Torres. Had 3u on him to beat Benavidez. He's the WEC's Nate Marquardt.

Strikeforce: +10.5u

Damn, kicking ass on Strikeforce. I really don't know their fighters nearly as well so usually only bet the bigger events, and then usually only a few bets. I actually don't think I've made any big plays on SF since the Fedor/Rogers card.

DREAM: -4u

I'm not sure that I've ever come out ahead on a DREAM card. Kind of like with SF, I don't know the fighters that well and the whole shit really seems kind of shady with questionable judging and stoppages.

Also, it seems that you very rarely take a bet. I've seen you skip a ton of events. Why is that?

As far as it goes with Strikeforce, because they are still a fairly young model organization they don't usually match up thier "bread and butter" fighters with overly dangerous opponents. I won most of My Strikeforce cash on Cyborg, Nick Diaz, Jay Heiron, and Robbie Lawlor(Manhoef being the one exception to typically non dangerous opponents).

I wasn't putting a whole lot on my parlays overall, but the ones that lost big for me were the last WEC(I had Torres and Bowles together for about 9u) and Marquardt was part of a rather big one(I had him paired with Demian Maia for 13u). I got caught up in the new/old Championship hype in WEC and Marquardt I thought was far and away the best fighter at 185 not named Anderson Silva.

I'm actually going to start a new system for betting I read about recently, I'm planning to try it for a quarter year or so and see how it works out.
