I'm saying that it all depends on a number of factors and when it comes to making or losing money I'm going to go a little more in depth than saying "BJ loses 1 out of 4 fights."

Besides, I'm not even a big Penn fan. I just know he's a bad ass.

He's badass, but he's inconsistent. Even if he's not fighting GSP, he'll still show up looking like crap and drop decisions to Frank Edgar. All I meant by my initial comment was betting on BJ Penn is by no means a foolproof get rich quick scheme like you made it out to be.

You don't think that BJ losing to Edgar taught the oddsmakers something about setting Penn lines? If you remember, that was the ONLY line that we had gotten that was above -300 any time in recent memory.

It is true. BJ was not above -300 against Sherk, Kenny, or Diego. And all those fights made -200 or so seem like a steal. But then came along -600 against Frankie.
