Frank Trigg's fighting career isn't over.

Trigg (19-8), who hinted at a possible retirement following his February release from the UFC, has booked a Nov. 9 fight in Israel, the 38-year-old today announced.

The former top UFC contender fights Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Roy Neeman (1-0) at an International Fighting Championship event in Tel Aviv.

The fight takes place at a catchweight of 180.4 pounds (82 kg).

Trigg, a former University of Oklahoma wrestler and PRIDE veteran, returned to the UFC for the first time in four years and suffered a TKO loss to Josh Koscheck in September 2009. With that loss and a subsequent first-round stoppage defeat to Matt Serra, UFC officials elected to cut Trigg from its welterweight roster earlier this year. At the time, he told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) he was unsure if he'd continue fighting.

Following that first UFC stint that ran from 2003 to 2005, which included a pair of title losses to then-champ Matt Hughes, Trigg fought for organizations such as Strikeforce, World Victory Road, HDNet Fights and ICON Sport, where he defeated Jason "Mayhem" Miller for the organization's middleweight title.

Recently, the Las Vegas-based Xtreme Couture fighter has been an HDNet Fights commentator for a variety of organizations, including DREAM, World Victory Road and the MFC.

His opponent, Neeman, is one of Israel's most accomplished jiu-jitsu competitors, and he's won a variety of grappling titles throughout the world.

Michael Schiavello broke the news that former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski will fight October 2nd at the K-1 World Grand Prix Final 16 in Seoul, Korea. During the King of the Cage broadcast, Schiavello added that Arlovski will not participate in the tournament, and he instead will be involved in a superfight against a yet unnamed opponent

WO-S quarterback Reggie Garrett dies after Friday game
WEST ORANGE, Texas - West Orange-Stark football player Reggie Garrett died Friday after he collapsed on the sideline during a high school football game at Dan R. Hooks Stadium.

Garrett appeared unresponsive as medics carted him off the field following his collapse midway through the second quarter. Medics loaded Garrett into an ambulance and the game continued to its conclusion, a 27-6 victory for WO-S against Jasper.

Garrett was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Baptist-Orange at 9:30 p.m. Friday night, according to hospital spokeswoman Mary Poole.

Garrett arrived at the emergency room at 8:30 p.m. Poole said an autopsy has been ordered and the death is being investigated.

My son just started playing football, first time in his life he has done anything remotely athletic, LOL. I cant imagine how that kids parents feel. I seriously would probably kill myself if that happened to me and I didnt have any other kids.

I would bet he had some type of heart problem (i.e. cardiomyapothy)

Probably died of hyperthermia and dehydration or something stupid like that. Football is dangerous enough on its own, but this football mentality of always pushing through, playing hurt, and ignoring injuries is what makes it as bad as it is. That shit is ridiculous, especially in high school and college, where you've got these kids working their asses off, destroying their bodies, and dropping dead pretty frequently just to make the coaches and school rich.

Chuck Liddell fucked me for a good 6 or 7 fights in a row. It wouldnt matter which side I was on. If I bet him,I lost. (Jardine, Rashad, Rampage come to mind immediately), If I went against him, he won. (Wandy Silva, Tito #2,comes to mind)

i cant think of any fighters that come to mind. For some reason I dont bet the same fighters too often
