Re: Off topic thread(basketball,movies,etc whatever)
What books do you guys even read? I was in town today with the lady and she picking up the new Nicholas Sparks book so I skimmed over the books also. The only thing I could find that looked any good was the Drew Brees(New Orleans Saints) book
Most anything that interests me I read on the internet

Didn't you see my book list earlier? I said:
Let's see, a few books I've read in the not too distant past:
Making Movies by Sydney Lumet
Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie
The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie
The Phoenix Lights by Lynn Kitei
The Autobiography of Malcolm X
Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich (the semi-true story that the movie 21 was based on)
We Don't Die by Joel Martin
Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman

I dont read many books because I dont find any that interest me. Last book I read was a year ago called "The Smart Money" .Its about a journalist who ends up being a runner for the biggest sports bettors in Vegas

If you like gambling books I reccomend it
I'll look into it.
I would genuinely suggest Bringing Down the House to you. It's supposed to be a non-fiction book, but everyone knows Mezrich embellished a little. Still, the core story is true, and it's awesome. I am a slow reader--sometimes next a month or more to get through a book--but I blew through this one in just a few days.
Also, if you're up for reading some fiction, The Exorcist is actually one of the best books I've read and another one of the rare few that I got through very quickly. The movie was good, but the book is even better (as is often the case.)
