I play blackjack and roulette almost exclusively, with a few hands of 3-card poker here and there for fun.

Oh, and video poker and slots occasionally, of course.

Yeah, well a lot of it is about conventions at the table. How to act. Where actually to put your money. Shit like that.

It's the same reason I've never played Texas Hold'em at a casino. I've played a good bit online and understand the game, but I wouldn't really know how or when to act at a table.

When I was living in MS, I played almost exclusively in Vicksburg, though I hit up the coast a time or two as well. I've always played in the Harrah's in New Orleans.

Here in Utah we have to drive an hour and a half to Wendover, right across the state line. I haven't been in a long time though because I never have anyone to go with.

When playing poker the best thing to do at the table is be calm no matter what happens .If you win a big hand act like its no big deal ,if you get a bad beat do the same . If you are screaming "yes " and "noooooo!" all the time they'll know you're a noob and they'll go after you

My biggest concern would be when to do shit.

The one time I did actually play with some peeps I was pushing my chips in at the wrong time and shit like that.

All I can say is practice online or buy some poker books to read.

Yeah, that seems to be the best way to learn anything quickly. Just go do it and fuck up a lot, you'll figure it out.
