People can't keep their mouths shut for 5 minutes. The general of teh army can't even keep his trap shut... you guys actually think a president would willingly let thousands of people die... and then could keep dozens of people quiet about it.

Trust me, I have looked at a lot of evidence on both sides of the table. I actually even wrote an article on a 9/11 Truth campus group:

Again, I don't personally believe that 9/11 was an inside job, but a lot of the debunking has itself been debunked. For instance, the reigning theory regarding why the towers collapsed was the pancake theory, and even the 9/11 Commission has backed off of that. Bottom line, they don't know.

I believe that with stuff like this you can never know for sure because you weren't there, and to say that you know is just foolish.

Just look at it plainly... there is no way all these people could keep quiet or would even want to. Bush had major falling outs with some of his closest guys... These guys all throw each othe runder the bus at the drop of the hat.

To believe that the President and all his people are just totally evil, and willing to let innocent people die, including children... and then they all could just take it to the grave with them- it requires an incredible leap to believe that.

So I do not think any conspiracy threory that requires more than 3 people to know about it is very likely. To believe that 9/11 or Katrina were inside jobs, it just sounds absolutely ridiculous to me.

Luke, I do not think "the government" cares... but there is no "the government." There are just a bunch of dudes that run for office. I was part of the "the government" myself for a while...

But to think that the government is just this evil maniacal boogeyman genius that plans terror attacks so they can bomb people... no. Just no. All 3 branches of our government are so confused and asinine that they cannot manage ot get anything accomplished at all. Much less some super secret evil plot.

Scientist, I've tried to make clear that I don't BELIEVE that 9/11 was an inside job. I just think there's a lot of shady shit surrounding the whole thing. There are a lot of unanswered questions. So I do not discount anything either. In my opinion, that's the sensible position.

It could very possibly be that there are levels to the conspiracy. Perhaps Bush himself did not organize the whole thing, but like Luke said, he knew it was coming or at least suspected it based on intel that had been received.

My position: Who knows.
