    Re: KOS -GSP odds

I see this fight being much more even than people are thinking. GSP will have a harder time landing takedowns this time around. Koscheck did not expect takedowns WHATSOEVER in the first fight and that's why it ended the way it did. Nevertheless, GSP still mixes up takedowns and striking so much better at this point, I see him mixing it up for a decision victory. Koscheck will not be the one to dethrone GSP, but GSP's days are numbered. I pray to God they are.

A younger guy who we probably haven't heard of yet that will become better than GSP at MMA.

Yup. WWs have their work cut out for them when the champion, who is only 29 himself and already far more skilled than everyone, works harder at improving than anyone in the division.

I'd give Kos as good a chance as anyone against GSP right now, but that's not saying much. Their first fight was not close at all. The two judges that gave Kos round 1 were crazy, IMO. I'm also not feeling his excuse about why he lost it. Even if he was losing the wrestling game because had over-focused on his striking, there's another problem: GSP was destroying him in the stand-up as well! So if he focuses more on the wrestling this time around, that's not going to help his striking problem. If Kos is going to win this, he needs to not just equal GSP in wrestling, but to surpass him. He needs to take GSP down consistently and smother him like he did to Daley. Obviously, I can't see it happening.

Rematches don't always go the same way, but I see nothing that tells me Koscheck has improved his game much more than St.-Pierre has improved his. If it weren't for the need to throw someone at GSP, I doubt anyone would be clamoring to see this fight again.

That was what I was pretty much getting at... it's a long shot but it will happen.
