Why not have confidence in him? He is just now hitting his stride, and becoming the fighter he always had the potential to become. He will be VERY hard to take down and hold down, and may even put Jacare on his back. He will have the power advantage standing, and IF Jacare tires out like he did against joey, he is going to get mugged late in the fight.
I honestly do not think Kennedy should even be +140 here.

I'll admit that I don't know a lot about Kennedy.
However, I was not overly impressed with Jacare in his fight with Villasenor. He gassed as the fight went on and his striking was certainly suspect. I think this one will come down to Kennedy's takedown defense and cardio because I don't see many fighters outgrappling Jacare on the mat.
Patino is a bjj stylist as well. He fought in some of the earlu UFCs. He is coming off of 6 decision, going 3-3 with losses to Roan Carneiro (no shame) and Kyacey Uscola (some shame). Galvao is (insert generic bjj world champ comment). He should be a better grappler at this point. He also has a takedown advantage, but I think Patino is going to want to grapple anyway.
Galvao is a stylistic lock. He looked like crap against Luke Stewart in his last fight, which I bet on. He got swept several times, which was really shocking. Anyway, Galvao is going to win. I am considering breaking my -250 here, because Patino has no outs.
might drop .5u on Kennedy... I think he is going to give Jacare a hard time. Or get subbed immediately. Kennedy is just now training full time for the first time and he looked awesome against Prangley. Jacare did not impress against Villesenor. Still Jacare is going to rule him if Kennedy decides to engage him on the mat. Jacare has very good takedowns too. It really depends on if Kennedy tries to test the waters on the mat... that is where he usually fights. If he takes Jacare down, he will regret that decision. No way in hell he can top control him. Kennedy needs to keep the fight standing, if he can, which is questionable. I could see Kennedy taking rounds 2 and 3 though.
Is Cormier really fighting again? That's badass, this will be his 3rd fight in 3 weeks. He's like, I got a Strikeforce fight coming up in 3 weeks, fuck it I'll just go win 2 HW titles in the meantime. No big deal.
