Its not like he was going to stop Griggs in the last 30 seconds imo .Lashely had almost 2 rounds on top and couldnt stop him . All that would have happened is round 2 ended and Lashley got KO'd in round 3 instead of 2

It looks like Lashley quit. I think there's a rule about not getting up to go to your stool or something like that. He basically didn't stand up to make his way to the stool and so the Doctor said "this guy has too many muscles, fight's off"

I think it's just as likely that Lashley would have either been able to take him down again and grind out the third, or lose the third without getting stopped.

I think it's just as likely that Lashley would have either been able to take him down again and grind out the third, or lose the third without getting stopped.
