Yeah. If these clowns actually thought things through they'd realize that standing the fight up actually promotes inactivity on the ground.

Yeah. If these clowns actually thought things through they'd realize that standing the fight up actually promotes inactivity on the ground.

Not for the guy on top. If the guy on top stays active and actually does something, it doesn't get stood up.

i said if a fighter is just holding on waiting for a stand up he should lose a point for stalling

Not for the guy on top. If the guy on top stays active and actually does something, it doesn't get stood up.

If the guy on bottom knows all he has to do is tie up and stall out, you think he's gonna do anything else? If he knows he's gonna have to get up on his own, he'll be forced to do something and get creative.

That's defense. Even if there were not standups, you'd expect the guy on the bottom to tie up to minimize damage.

If the guy on bottom knows all he has to do is tie up and stall out, you think he's gonna do anything else? If he knows he's gonna have to get up on his own, he'll be forced to do something and get creative.

Like I just said, that's defense. Besides, it's equally the responsibility of the guy on top to not get tied up.

I disagree. He'll try other things if he knows he's going to lose.
